Logo Contest

Title:

Los Angeles School of Arts and Entertainment

Wants

I need an artistically compelling logo for a proposed arts and entertainment charter school. I either want something that uses the complete title "The Los Angeles School of Arts and Entertainment" or something that creates a really creative symbol using the acronym "LASAE" and then the subtitle "The Los Angeles School of Arts and Entertainment". This project must project a sense of high end arts programming serving the creative capacities of urban students. It must be strident yet very classy. We are going after funding from major foundations and arts organizations and need to create the image that we are a serious project that will become a national model for urban arts education. I am open to both color and Black and white options that embody great art.

Don't Wants

I don't want anything hokey or sophomoric. We need to attract big time investors and educators to the project.

About Us

The Los Angeles School of Arts and Entertainment is a proposed charter school focused on 6th-12th grade students in South Los Angeles. The school will provide programming to aspiring visual and performing artists and practical training for a wide range of professions within the arts industry (cinematography, choreography, set design, sound engineering, lighting technicians, music production, etc).
