Logo Contest

Logo sought for new fundraising consulting firm

Subtitle

Looking for an .eps logo for ARK Consulting which will be used in print and web.

Brand Name

My consulting firm offers sophisticated but creative help for nonprofits who want to grow and raise more money.

Wants

Looking for an .eps logo for ARK Consulting which will be used in print and web. ARK Consulting offers sophisticated fundraising consulting services to nonprofits, including (but not limited to) animal welfare groups. ARK stands for Advancement Resources Knowledge. Some of my preferences:
--.eps file
--one or two colors only
--something that incorporates the idea of a boat as a vehicle for reaching safety and maybe animals and maybe the dove/bird with the olive branch/twig in its beak as a symbol of a sunnier tomorrow for the nonprofits who engage me as their consultant
--needs to work for letterhead (say, roughly 1.75 inches by 3 inches) as well as web/blog.
--needs to include name of firm (ARK Consulting) and preferably URL (arkofboston.com) as part of design.
--I'm open to idea of playing off the double meaning of "arc" and "ark" through the use of circle segments, etc. but it's not a requirement

Don't Wants

--No clipart, please.
--Can't tolerate cutesy--so no pawprints in design!
--No religious symbolism to the ark, so if a dove is used, it definitely needs to be a not-remotely Christian bird ;-)
--Not all my clients will be animal-related, so the "star" of the logo should be the boat and not the animals

Colors

1.	#117009	Doesn't have to be this shade at all, but I like green, the color of money and the sea, and think that the color version of ARK's logo should include green.
2.	#4e0657	I like purple as an accent color but again, doesn't have to be this shade.
3:	No Color Specified	No Note

About Us

This is a relaunch of a firm I operated from 1996 to 2008. I am currently unemployed and I apologize for the insultingly low size of the prize money. I promise that if I choose your design, I will vigorously promote your services among my network and do what I can to get you business that compensates your talent more appropriately than this project does!
