Corporate Logo for Building Information
Logo that fits our company image
Building Information
The logo should include our company name, Building Information, and be suitable for the attached web layout image.
We would also like this design to work well on dark/white backgrounds. We like the idea of what building blocks and our company name could describe to potential customers. Ideally the 'blocks' could be in cube shape and allow for listing some of the technologies we use such as "SAP", "PHP", "BSP", "iOS", "AJAX", "HTML5", "JAVA", "ABAP".... on different sides.
Submissions that adhere to the architectural feel of the attached image (pen and ink on grid paper) while also bringing in a modern look is highly recommended. Creative logos may include filler text to show where a slogan would look good with the design. The FLUX architecture font may be good for this.
It may help to include an additional screenshot of your design with and without the logo placeholder in the attached web design screenshot.
About the attached image: The space for the logo will be the top left and we can move the layout further down the page for taller logo designs. The layout is subject to change but the architectural background pattern and "pen on ink" feel will definitely stay.
Update****
I just put together a sample of a visual direction for this project, please view here: http://i.imgur.com/yD1nq.jpg and the backdrop here: http://imgur.com/nusZE
The logo will need to look good on business cards/tshirts or any backdrop for that matter so do not limit yourself to what you see in the sample.
Additional thoughts:
1. At a smaller size you cant see the detail in the font, but the "scratchy" look is what I was aiming for...
2. There needs to be more blocks that incorporate the texts described in the brief, ( like #11 was attempting ). Maybe the blocks can be like they are falling out of the air?
3. Some color would be nice
4. I am not set on the placement of any part of this logo so please be creative.
