Logo Contest

Digital Funk Machine

Wants

For this particular design, I'm looking for the following:

1) Take our current DFM logo and incorporate it into a sigil or emblem. The emblem is to be used on a sweatshirt to commemorate the company's 1 year anniversary (2014-2015). It's also meant as a "thank you" to the employees. Not sure how this would be incorporated into the icon but throwing it out there as a an FYI.

2) FYI: The company's focus is on videogame production and development. Most recently, we've become VERY involved in VR development. If we can incorporate symbolism for game development, VR development, our logo, and information that commemorates our 1 year anniversary into one sigil type graphic, that'd be ideal.

3) Would like the sigil icon to have a bit of a worn down look (i.e. Gears of War icon). To clarify, we're not looking to use the Gears font. We simply want to give whatever icon we use to have a bit of a worn down look to it.

One possible idea to play with is to use the "G" in "Digital" (the gear graphic) and use it as the iconography that surrounds the entire art piece. If you were to look at the image in the link provided below, the gear "G" would surround the information inside. Just an idea.
