About Us

Microstock photography also known as micropayment photography, is a part of the stock photography industry. What defines a company as a microstock photography company is that they (1) source their images almost exclusively via the Internet and (2) sell their images as digital downloads at a very low rate. There are two target markets, with the largest being subscribers who will pay a monthly fee to download a finite number of images for use in media, reporting, websites, magazines, newspapers, and sales/marketing materials (without reselling the photograph itself). The second target market will be individuals, collectors, archivists, hobbyists that pay per download to acquire photographs that appeal to them.
