Logo Contest

Title:

JMD Interiors

Wants

Sleek, elegant, yet modern. I would like to incorporate a logo with the JMD
(John McClain Design) integrated together. I would perhaps like to see it with a Greek Key type look where all of the JMD are connected, maybe forming a circular shape with the letters and "Interiors" underneath that part as in the file that I uploaded, but I'm totally open to any suggessions. I would like to incorporate a starburst in the background, as that is part of my design style.
I like golds, browns, whites, blacks, tans, grays, and am open to options in that neutral pallete.

I am looking for a logo and a business card.

Don't Wants

No primary colors. No reds, blues, yellows. I only want the colors listed in the brief. Probably need it on a white background but open to black background.
