Logo Contest

Rock Creek Energy, Inc.

Subtitle

Company Logo to represent a new company on letterhead, business cards & web-site

Wants

We want to see more designs with GRAVITAS!!!! – Gravitas means: weight, seriousness, dignity, or importance, and connotes a certain substance or depth of personality.

We would like to see Rock Creek as the main text while also trying to incorporate rocks and running water in the design. Meshing the text of Rock Creek into the water/rock design would be neat. I could see the creative use of the leg of the "R" running/turning into a stream underneath the text, but please be creative and feel free to submit original ideas. It should be shaped, sized and detailed in a way that allows us to use it in a large format for a web-site, posters, etc while also being able to shrink it down to be on letterhead or business cards. It should be one-tone or two-tone with darker/natural/neutral colors. Plain black would be fine also. Feel free to play with colors and we'll provide feedback along the way.

Although Rock Creek Energy will be the most visible name, our company will also consist of a sister entity called Rock Creek Holdings. Because our letterhead may be inclusive of both entities, it would be okay to limit the design to "Rock Creek", but if you are able to incorporate the word "Energy" into the design that would also be great and we will continually provide feedback when designs are off-track or on-track.

The design should be bold, professional, unique and creative.

Don't Wants

We want to avoid a cartoonish logo.

About Us

Rock Creek Energy will be a small oil and gas company. We will be headquartered out of Denver, CO. The name "Rock Creek" comes from a stream that ran through our to-be president's back yard when he was a boy.
