Logo Contest

Title:

Unified Logo for the Credit Union Market

Wants

The Unified logo should appeal to both Gen x and Gen Y. While these groups may seem (and be) vastly difference in persona and characteristics I believe the have more in common emotionally and socially than meets the eye. I guess I would liken the two groups as Ying and Yang, a perfectly harmonious yet distinctly different.

The logo is "Modern Retro". Something Grandma and Grandpa might say they recognize from "back in the day" while their 20 something grandchild is absolutely certain this is a new brand that belongs to them. Consider the loft being created from the old factories. Old is New and Cool.

I am seeing "Chrome Green" Script font, reminiscent of the muscle cars of the 1950's and 1960's sitting on a design element. The font is meant to bring the excitement and sex appeal demanded of today. It needs to be easy to read.

The font could be sitting on a design element that might remind you of "Stuckey's" or an old "Holiday Inn" sign. Those oddly rounded polygons.

While the dominant color is a green I would like to see yellow fairly obvious in the design. Perhaps as the shadow or outline of the font. Maybe as the design element. Bringing blue into the design would be interesting.

Don't Wants

I am not looking for something that was common during the fifties and sixties. Or anything that would have been seen during that time. Instead, that time frame is a heavy inspiration.

Colors

1.	#07a84d	Please know that these colors are not exact. Simply example.
2.	#f4fc12	The yellow should compliment the green.
3:	#0048e3	Consider the blue you see at your local credit union or bank. Not the national colors.
