I want the logo to look FRESH, professional, modern, clean and not too overloaded. At the same time it should communicate fun, appeal and the purpose of the site. I like logos that do not only consist of the word itself (like "iTunes"), but also incorporate an icon (like the "Apple" :)).

 

I need one version with logo only and a second version of the logo which also shows the claim of pallery.com underneath the logo.

 

The claim is called:

 

Komm einfach mit!

 

or if you do not use any capital letters in the logo itself you can also just write:

 

komm einfach mit!

 

(it's German and translates into: "just join!" or "just join us!")

 

Please note:

 

- The word "einfach" in the claim should be highlighted (other color maybe?! or italics?! - you name it), since it means "just" or "simple" and it's one of the USPs of the site.

 

- When creating the font logo, maybe you should think of highlighting the wordplay by designing "pal" and "lery" differently? By using different colors for example? I don't know...You show me :). Please find an example attached that gives you a direction of what I am thinking of.

Please do not send in logos that I could also create myself in Word or Powerpoint...

 

Also please note that pallery.com is NOT a dating site and NOT a site for sexual contacts, so please do not incorporate any hearts, body parts or mistletoes in the logo...;)

About Us

We need this logo for our business plan , in order to find venture capital partners / investors who invest in our idea. Pallery.com is going to be an all-new approach, being a website that helps you find pals/mates/friends who share your hobbies and interests.

 

Pallery.com is not a second "facebook", where you collect and connect your existing friends. It is not a network either. But it will bring people together Online - so that tey can meet Offline, in order to go out, have fun and become friends/pals.

 

Pallery.com is a wordplay, combining the two words "pal" and "gallery". Maybe this helps in finding ideas for an attractive and interesting logo.

 

Sharing leisure time and going to events of all categories together is also a key motive of pallery.com.

 

Pallery.com will start in Germany, but hopefully roll out internationally if the concept will be successful. If that ever happens (the international rollout) we promise to pay another 800 $ to the winner of this contest :).
