I want a an icon (main focus) and a logo for an iOS lottery checker app that I am currently working on. The name of the app will be "Lotto Gizmo". I'm looking for a unique icon image that would represent what the app is about. The icon and logo should reflect what the app is - that is something that represents a gadget/gizmo for checking lottery tickets. I'd want very little to no text on the icon. Some ideas to use for the image: lottery balls, lottery tickets, lottery numbers, a hand held device, camera. If using lottery balls, please use numbers 1- 49 inclusive and include only one ball that's different from the rest to represent a bonus number.

Keep in mind the icon size should be made at 57x57 px @ 72dpp but should be scalable upwards to support Retina. Please include a "Lotto Gizmo" logo to match with the icon but remember the focus is on the icon.

I've specified some colours to start with but feel free to make adjustments to make it better.

One of the key features of this app is that it uses the phone's camera to scan the numbers on lottery tickets so the logo and icon could include some hint of the usage of a camera but this is not necessary.

Since I will need to make various sizes of the logo and icon, I would like the final asset be in a scalable vector Adobe Illustrator format that's editable. Please include the font(s) that you would be using.

UPDATE: After thinking about the concept, we've came up with what we want and I've attached a sample image. The icon is basically an aperture of a camera taking a picture of a lotto ticket. On the lotto ticket there should be some numbers circled off as "matched. We'd like an icon that shows something like this but with more of the lotto ticket showing (less of the camera lens/shutter). Also, the lotto ticket should say "Lotto" so that the viewer knows it's a lotto ticket and not some random numbers. We'd prefer the lotto ticket's colour to be yellow-ish white

Don't Wants

I don't want too much of a cartoonish look for the icon and I don't want a lot of text on the icon (the text will be shown below the icon on an iOS device). I don't want to use the letters "LG" on the icon as that might confuse people with the LG Electronics company.

Right now we are targeting the Canadian market and since I don't want to misinterpret our app that it is endorsed by any of the Canadian Lottery corporations, the icon and logo should NOT have any similar resemblance, images nor colours, to the Lottery logos for Lotto Max or Lotto 649 or those used by www.olg.ca, www.lotoquebec.com, and www.bclc.com. About Us

The app's target audience is for people who play in lottery pools and want to check their tickets. One of the key features of this app is that it uses the camera to scan lottery tickets to check it.
