We are looking for a ONE OF A KIND, vintage yet sleek design for our new Downtown San Diego loft boutique

The Cycling Owl logo will also be turned into stickers and stencils and slapped anywhere and everywhere EA Vintage travels. A HUGE DEAL for any designer. (Are you familiar with Street Art??? Think BIG- Think EVERYWHERE!))

On the outside of the building, there is a vintage iron penny farthing bike. The idea of the logo is to have a vintage owl cycling on a penny farthing bike. It needs to look realistic, like a real owl - yet vintage and sleek. People will automatically associate the bike with the boutique. The word Cycling may tie into the wheels (perhaps the two c's are the wheels?)- or may be underneath the picture of the owl on the bike. Colors schemes should be similar to the EA Vintage logo - but also different. A warm vintage feel, yet sleek and modern. We are also open to greys mixed in with pumpkin orange, chartreuse and Tiffany blue. Keep in mind this logo will obviously be going on a business card- which is the way people remember us. THE OWL ITSELF should take up the whole front of the card. Our EA Vintage cards are extremely tasteful and everyone remembers them. The design will be printed on a matte silk card stock so please keep this in mind when designing. It will not be a glossy card. The card should be somewhat unisex but a little more on the feminine side.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST - also included in the logo - it should say An EA Vintage Loft Boutique somewhere - Play with the letters- maybe AN EA VINTAGE LOFT BOUTIQUE or an EA Vintage Loft Boutique- maybe EA Vintage is cursive and then loft boutique is all caps.. I don't know. just offering suggestions

Mommy’s closet was the scene for Erica to grow up playing dress-up, in anything she could find—whether it was the over-sized suede boots that she had to wear six pairs of socks with, or her Mom’s favorite hippie get-ups. Erica's love for fashion always got her noticed. Her mother nurtured her eclectic design sensibilities and passion by allowing her to wear anything she desired. Erica began her obsession with vintage clothing when as a child, her mother insisted on waking her up at 7am every Saturday to go to garage sales. This quickly turned into estate sales and thrift store shopping--where she discovered she had “the eye" and keen ability to pick out the most beautiful vintage pieces instantly. After a few years of shopping for herself, Erica began to feel sad about leaving special pieces behind. She learned of the Antique Collectibles Market on Miami Beach and began buying and selling at the market--which allowed her collection of vintage clothing and accessories to grow quickly. Each vintage treasure in her collection has a story, and Erica knows where each one was discovered and purchased. Vintage is Erica's life, and her unique style never fails to impress--leaving people wondering, “where did she get that?” Owning Vintage means you will most likely own a one-of-a-kind item that people often want to buy right off your back! EA Vintage collections speak to those who want to make a special and unique statement in their style--with pieces which have been hand-selected with special attention to detail, pattern and silhouette. Erica graduated from the Art Institute with an Associate’s degree in Fashion Merchandising. Obsessed with food, fashion, music and traveling--she has been to Ireland, London, Paris, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Japan, Italy, Spain, Monte Carlo, Jamaica, Bahamas, and throughout the US. Her interests are photography, art, traveling, movies based around dry humor, and comedy.
