Wants

The logo should engender trust, timeless elegance and upscale design.  To get in the mind of our visitor, think people that would shop at Tiffany and Co, Coach, Nordstrom, Williams Sonoma, Crate and Barrel.  It should also speak comfort and a pleased dog, a good example is http://www.dogbedworks.com/   

 

Design should be vector based in Adobe Illustrator.

 

Design needs to be simple, fast loading, and light. Should have white background and incorporate good use of white space.

 

Keep in mind, this site is going to use CSS tableless design and the logo will need to fit well and be easy to read (including website address).

 

The colors are open but will cater to a more upscale female audience so they should be more neutral.  We are looking for a smooth, simple, easily recognized logo.

Don't Wants

Cartoons or a cartoonish look.
