Wants

I am updating the design brief since there have been thousands on entries, which has been overwhelming. So I find I need to refine the design brief. I like colors of blue and gold, but really need to lean into gold for the logo. I need something that is going to speak to and catch the eye of high net worth and wealthy clients and prospective clients. I am moving away from an "electric blue" and leaning into ore of a dark navy blue or dark charcoal grey if using another color than gold/yellow. I want a logo that is bold, clean, simple and elegant. Something that will catch your eye and is memorable. I like lettering but also want a cool image or symbol kind of design to accompany the lettering. I want something that will work beautifully online in digital presence and social media, on office door/building signage, and on promotional items or merchandise like t-shirts and polos, pens, golf balls, travel cups, coffee mugs, etc. I want some thing that is unique and different from much of the financial services industry where symbols like lighthouses and compasses are used a lot. I have an idea of a bird flying or idea of looking out to the ocean/horizon at the beach are some images that come to my mind when I think of freedom if this helps? But this does not mean it needs to be in the logo. I am just not creative. Please help me bring this idea to light!

I am going to leave the color palette up to your design with the guidance that I am looking for something in an elegant gold and maybe deep blue/navy or dark charcoal grey.

Don't Wants

I don't want something that is canned or already fabricated and widely available like in clip art. Please be creative and original.
