3 Star - I like the direction of this, maybe change the colors or font or image, but its not quit there yet.

You may also choose to run a 1 day, 7 day, 10 day, 15 day or 30 day contest which have a fee associated with it, plus any upgrades you want to apply. All fees are non-refundable. Note that to increase the quality of your contest, you should plan to provide feedback early and often.

Designers don't have to pay to participate in a contest — registration is free.

We offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee within 30 days of payment.

If your contest does not receive a minimum of 25 designs AND you are not happy with any of the designs, you may request a full refund.

We are successful because our clients are happy with our designers’ ability to always deliver. We do everything to make sure you are happy with the process and designs. Not sure who which design to pick? Need help with your brief or communicating with the designers? We are here to guide you through the entire process.

If you decide to process a refund request, you will not be entitled to use any of the designs submitted to your related contest.

Its Simple:

1. Sign Up for a FREE Account - Click Here.

2. Click on Start a Contest and fill out the short form.

3. Sit back and watch the designs flow in.

You can run a contest from 1 day up to 30 days. If you are not in a hurry, you may choose to run your contest for 30 days in order to get more exposure for your design contest and receive more design concepts. If you need a design immediately, you may choose to run your contest for 1 day and have your results within 24 hours. You can choose to upgrade your contest at the time you post it.

Feedback is necessary in order to ensure that all of the designers have a good idea of what you are looking for. Your feedback provides them direction and helps you get a better design. Contest holders have to provide feedback to every designer who participates in their contest.

A Prize is your budget for this particular contest. It is the final amount you are willing to pay the winning designer at the conclusion of the contest. There are minimum prizes for each contest category, but remember; the bigger the prize amount, the more designs you will likely get and of a better quality.

A design brief is a description of what you want your design to look like, or simply put – your vision. We know you are not a designer, but it is your idea so we need a roadmap to create the perfect design for you. Designers look to the brief to guide them towards creating your final product and making the contest a complete success.

The longer and more descriptive the design brief is, the better the process will go for you and the designers. The more information you can provided them, the better an idea they have to help them create the best design for you. If you need help, contact us and we will guide you through the process.

Yes. You can edit your already running contest at any time. Once your contest has a design entry you will not be able to lower your prize amount, but you can increase it in order to improve your results. You can make changes in the “My Account” portion of your profile.

This is an important choice. There are minimums for each contest that will give you a starting point. However, the higher the prize the generally the more successful the contest will be and higher amount of individual designs you will receive. See what other contest holders are offering and their results and base your amount on what you see is working best. Or simply offer the amount that you have set as your budget for the project. You can always increase the amount after the contest begins.

We accept Visa and Mastercard and American Express. Your account will be charged when you start the contest. Once you have chosen a winning design and are ready to receive the exclusive copy rights to your design and receive the file in the format of your choice, you can click on the “Sign-Off” button in your Account Drop Box (See this video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PLi5tBBQ7Y). Logobids will credit the winning designers Logobids Account for the appropriate amount. Thats it, you’re done!

There are 2 ways you can do this: On each contest page there is a star rating system that allows you to rate how much you like the design they created for you by rating it from one to five stars. You can also leave a comment in the feedback field of the contest. Remember, it is required to give feedback and it will drastically improve your contest results.

Yes. In an effort to attract more quality designers and improve your results we make sure that each contest is indexable and therefore seen by each search engine like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Your contest is also viewable by everyone that visits the “Contest” page on Logobids.com. In the near future, you may upgrade your contest to private during your contest launch and it will not be indexed for the search engines. If you require a private contest, please contact us at support@logobids.com.

We ecnourage each contest holder to use the Star Rating System.

By leaving a feedback through the Star Rating System you are helping guide the designers to create better entries for your project.

Here is what each Star Rating conveys to the designer:

5 Star - I really like this and do not want anything different - You win!
4 Star - This is extremely close to what I want, but needs just a little tweaking.
3 Star - I like the direction of this, maybe change the colors or font or image, but its not quit there yet.
2 Star - Looks nice, but I would not consider it a winner. Give it another try.
1 Star - Thank you for the entry, but it will not be considered. None of the elements are correct.

We are a community of professional designers worldwide that work for you. We create logos, web sites, letterheads, magazine ads, post cards, business cards, t-shirt designs and other graphic designs at a price you set. Do you need a design for yourself or for a client? A design contest is a requirement posted by a contest holder, which gives designers a brief description of work that they need done. Professional designers then create designs to meet the need of the contest holder. Throughout the contest, the contest holder can provide feedback to help designers improve or change their designs. At the completion of the contest, the contest holder picks a winner and the prize money is awarded.

  1. Contest Holders post a brief summary of the graphic design work they need.
  2. They choose a budget they are willing to spend at completion.
  3. Professional Designers from all over the world submit top quality design concepts.
  4. The Contest Holder provides feedback to the designers throughout the contest.
  5. The Contest Holder chooses a winner - the best design they like out of all that are submitted.
  6. The Designer will send the Contest Holder all of the original design files in the format fo the Contest Holder choice.
  7. The Designer is paid the set amount first choosen by the Contest Holder.
  8. Once payment is made, all rights to the winning design are transferred from the Designer to the Contest Holder.

No. Crowdsourcing is the term used when a company hires a mass amount of people to work together to solve a problem the company has. As a group they come up with a solution, it is not an individual effort. Here at Logo Bids each designer is independent of the other and is competing for the business from the contest holder.

Yes. Whether you are a designer or a contest holder, signing up is easy and free! View the registration page and take a minute of your time to sign up.

In order to make the process more efficient and easier for both the designer and contest holder, we do not allow multiple accounts.

You can change your password by going to the "My Account" tab, and then look under "Edit Profile".

If a contest is not awarded within 14 days of the contest ending, the prize money will be used to sponsor one of our charity/non-profit design contest. The contest will be private and only the designers in the original (non-awarded) contest will be able to participate. We believe that if our designers put in hard work to create designs for the original abandoned contest, they should get an exclusive chance to earn the sought after prize. We also do this to help non-profit organizations, schools and charities with their design needs. We enable them to get world class design without the associated cost. Everybody wins!

14 days. At times the contest holder will need to get approval from outside parties (clients, business partners, etc.) prior to choosing the final design. In some cases there may be difficulty in choosing a winning design amongst so many great designs to choose from. If you feel the process is taking too long, please feel free to contact us.

Here is what message is conveyed for each star rating:

5 Star - I really like this and do not want anything different - You win!
4 Star - This is extremely close to what I want, but needs just a little tweaking.
3 Star - I like the direction of this, maybe change the colors or font or image, but its not quit there yet.
2 Star - Looks nice, but I would not consider it a winner. Give it another try.
1 Star - Thank you for the entry, but it will not be considered. None of the elements are correct.

4. CONTEST HOLDER RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING ENTRIES:

You agree that you will have no ownership whatsoever of any submitted creative material, until you have selected a submitted entry as a "winner" and paid the prize for it in full. At that time, the Graphic Designer agrees (see section below) to transfer to you a royalty-free, irrevocable exclusive worldwide right to use "completed creative material" in any way whatsoever. The graphic designer retains the rights to display the winning entry in their portfolio and advertising as an example of the work they do. Submitting an entry that does not follow the above guidelines is reason for immediate account closure and indefinite freezing of any funds in the offending Designer's account.
