How is Wal-Mart (a multi-million dollar corporation) only going to pay $100 for a new logo?? Oh well, count me in- this one isn't for the money but for the recognition, I guess!

Dave - I am glad you can spell so well. Maybe you should start a website called spellingbids.com. What a genius! Everyone else understands that this is not a true contest in the context of what the site normally offers. This was provided by the site owners to "give" business to the designers and the fun spin on it is the remaking of WalMarts' logo. So if you are not good enough to compete, please keep your comments to yourself. I'll be joining this contest. Good luck to everyone!
At least my comment was helpful to clarify the intent of the contest. I posted it thinking it was similar to many others I've entered that have not been legitimate or simply abandoned. Usually spelling and grammar are good indications, similar to much of the junk emails I receive. Good luck to those who participate, and no, cartunes, I had no idea based on the contest description, and obviously wasn't alone in not understanding who or what was behind the contest.
