Likes: Font is bold, modern looking, easy to read and powerful. We're big fans of the wireless radio waves when drawn well--unfortunately, we don't like the way they look in our current logo (see www.dockwell.com). You've drawn them very well, but we don't like the way they look in the letter c. Also...why is there a gap in the letter d? Finally, we really like the blue color.
Dislikes: The green and blue contrast too much. It makes it difficult to read. The green is a soft color, but the blue is bold and powerful (like the font) so you end up focusing on the "well". Again, we don't like the radio waves coming out of the letter c, but we do like that they are slanted (not straight) and well drawn/spaced.
If you have the time, would you mind tweaking it a little so we can see what it would look like with some changes? Our suggestions would be to play with the colors a little bit and give us a few options. Also, try a couple where the "d" in dockwell is capitalized. And as far as the wireless radio waves...put them somewhere else. Feel free to try and put them exactly where they are in our current logo. It might look better since they are not facing straight up--and they are not boring looking. You may want to try a few different locations around the logo as well....get fancy with it.
Are we asking too much before you've even won the prize? We just saw potential so we thought we would throw some suggestions out there.
On the same note, if you have ideas that are totally different or out there, we would love to see them too.
