Is this name going to replace the 'CLG' name and logo that appears on the site, or will it be a branch, such as 'Kid Concoctions'?

Our site will be linked to from a site called "Broadway.com" this website along with other theater websites like playbll.com, BroadwayWorld.com and Theatermania.com can provide a good refrence. We are looking for something that still expresses that glitz and glamour of Broadway with out being cheezy. Than you.

Love the recent designs. Would like to see "exclusively" in a more legible font. I am afraid "exclusively" will be lost and people will go to Broadway.com instead of "ExclusivelyBroadway.com" thank you for all of your hard work. Also, remember this is Broadway where everything is glitz and glamour.

"Exclusively" must be in an legible font. We have received lots of great designs however "Exclusively" is being lost I am afraid consumers will go to Broadway.com instead of "ExclusivelyBroadway.com". Please make sure that "Exclusively" does not get lost. Thanks!

Designers, I think it is important to call attention to plagiarism when it happens on logo contest sites such as this. On other sites that I provide work to, we try to police this issue ourselves as members of the design community. I sent a personal message to Designerari regarding the fact that many of his entries are simply slight modifications of my earlier logo entries. His entries starting at #66-82 are obviously rip-offs of my logos #60 and #61, which were updates of my even earlier entries #45 and #46. Please compare them and at first you will think they are all from the same designer. I requested that he retract his logos that duplicate my designs, but he claims he did not copy me. I sent a message to the contest holder and their reply was — "We just noticed, and agree with you. Very unethical." OK, design community — what are your thoughts?

well,in that case Kamomma's designs are styled after your designs too.See,that's the problem with text based designs,there's not much needed for someone to say "you copied my design".I am sure someone on this little ball of dirt we call home would say the same thing seeing your designs.Just make yours stand out more.Yes,there is a risk the contest holder won't like it.Right,contest holder? ;)

Hi Devos Designs, I like the points you make. You are right regarding some of the inherent issues that surround the design of wordmarks and commonality that can occur when you cast a larger net of comparison. However, I think there is a distinction between wordmarks that may have an unknowingly similar appearance to other workdmarks for other companies/markets, compared with logo development for a specific client within a "fishbowl" of a design contest where a designer knowingly views and copies another designer's work. There are always "degrees of separation" between concepts, whether wordmarks or logos. I think we know intentional plagiarism when we see it though, and Designari's entries that I referenced seems pretty blatant.

DeVos Designs, per your suggestion that I copied someones designs: Except for the coloring of the lettering, which I changed at the request of the contest holder, I really don't see how you can make such a comment, and I don't appreciate you're attempt to disparage my ethics on this comment board.

obviously you misread my comment or you didn't get what I said,the only thing I said was that your designs had the same styling (black bg,black/red gradient,smaller white "exclusively" on top and a few stars,so yeah,there are similarities) and with that only pointed out that unless you create a truely unique image/wordmark you run the risk of seeing similar designs...
but like I said in a different contest,no more comments from me unless it concerns my own designs,some people here seem to have very short fuses....
